Dear Parents,
We have many things planned for February. We will celebrate Ground Hog Day by making puppets and learning a song about the Ground Hog. We are planning many Valentine Day projects.
The Art Fair is Friday, February 3rd at 6 PM. I hope you can come and see the children's projects. The teachers also have a bake sale to benefit our financial aid programs.
Our Valentines' Day Party will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 14th. There is a sign-up sheet in the hall. Thank-you for all of your help and support. The children really enjoy the celebrations. Please don't forget that we are nut and peanut free when you bake or send in snacks. Please remember to check the safe list you received. The school will provide the sweet treat.
The children will exchange Valentines but do not put names on the outside of the envelopes. Sign your child's name or have them sign it to each card. Each child will decorate a white bag for their cards and the children will take turns distributing them to each child in our circle. There are 12 children in the class. As a school we have decided not to include candy with the valentines. This helps keep the children with allergies safe to handle the cards. We will still have treats for our party.
Thursday, February 28th will be red or pink day. Please send your child in something red or pink.
