The environment of Concordia Preschool is extremely positive. It is our primary goal for each child to feel good about him/herself. In the classroom, each age group is exposed to activities that enhance skill development at the child's own level.

Our school participates in the Delaware Institute of Excellence in Early Childhood's continuous quality improvement program, and is licensed by the State of Delaware Office of Childcare Licensing.

All Concordia Preschool staff members have been trained in early childhood education, and continue to receive additional early childhood education training on a regular basis. Each lead teacher has a minimum of three years teaching experience in an early childhood setting. Our staff is CPR and first-aid certified, and has undergone criminal background checks, TB tests & medical screenings.

The preschool is a community outreach of Concordia Lutheran Church.

Concordia begins it school year in Early September and continues through the last week in May. The school is closed for a week at Christmas and again at Easter, as well as several published holidays and conferences.

Hours
* Morning classes: 9:00 a.m. - Noon.
* Lunch Bunch: Noon - 1:15 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
* Special Programs (for example, soccer, Karate): Noon - 1:15 p.m. Fridays.
